how did we get here?
Planning by Molly was launched in 2023 after years of working behind the scenes in weddings since 2016. With a background in coordination, catering, bartending, and rentals - she combined those into one avenue.
Having worked hundreds of wedding celebrations + events, Molly pairs a love for meaningful details with a calm, confident approach.

Hi, I am Molly - the lead wedding planner and girl behind the vision.
I love a checklist. Period. Wedding planning is an endless checklist that we get to curate, imagine, coordinate and bring to life. I love, love. Being a part of my client's weddings, brings me immense joy and satisfaction.
The honor of being a small part of such an intimate and profound day is never lost on me. We take the stories, the meet-cutes, the couples history, and incorporate all of these things into small unique moments within the wedding. Wedding planning is a beautiful, creative, and organizational outlet which our team is passionate about.
My favorite thing about planning my clients wedding - is knowing that their day was everything they dreamed of, and more. The complete joy the couple has as they enjoy one of the most notable and joyful days of their lives. Being apart of that creation, is truly priceless.
Outside of Wedding and Event Planning I am a Registered Nurse and I work in Maternity Care and the Community. I am a mum of a little boy named Dane, sweet girl named Lou & wife of a wonderful husband (my muscle power, assistant and business partner!). I adore the Okanagan and all the lifestyle activities it provides - whether it is surfing behind a boat, hiking up a mountain, skiing through the back country, or soaking up the sun, you can always find me outside! I am passionate about my home and everything that goes into home-making!
I only take on 10 wedding events a season, and I am so excited to connect with my future couples!
